I was wondering which case I should get, I like that the s340 is significantly smaller than my current case and nearly half the cost of the slightly smaller h440. As far as I can tell the only difference in the cases if mounting of my 280mm rad would have to go in the front of the case and less hard drive bays. I planned on keeping my evo 212 cpu cooler and just using that for the cpu and buying a bracket to cool my gpu with the h110. Being that I would have to front mount the cooler would it be better to get the h440 so I don't heat up the cpu that will be on air? Will it make a huge difference to the temps of the cpu? This is the main issue for me choosing this case but I would also like to know is the s340 noise cancelling? I liked that about the h440. Other than that are there any other differences?

IMO the s340 is a better pick, it's cheaper, good looking, has a less restrictive intake/exhaust and I love the fact it is smaller. Mind you the radiator space is not the same, you need to install radiators on the front for it to work, as the top only has a 140mm hole.

Did you read everything I wrote? I know that, would it cause an air cooler cpu to heat significantly? My rad went bad and I am using air for now but thinking of cooling my gpu with it when I get the replacement. The evo 212 gets me the same overclock as the h110.

Sorry, I did rushed through the post :(

I had a wc config where the rad was the intake and tbh I couldn't notice a change in temps, I think the air moves that fast that it doesn't matter as long as the flow is good. I've seen build logs where the massive heat from the intake rads was increasing overall system temps by 1-3°C but not higher than that; as long as the exhaust is there it should be ok.

You could add a 120/140mm single rad and put it in the back, while still keeping the H110/dual rad on the front for the CPU, but if you want to use the dual rad on the GPUs, as long as you get fans for the slots on the back and the top, temps should be still great.

s340 all the way, its more sleek and has less plastic then the h440.

doing an all white build with the s340 soon, no doubt it will be sexy.

the top of the white s340 is still black though, i think
