The only 1440p 144hz g-sync display is the Asus ROG Swift -- about $1000, and its not IPS.

You can't have more than 60hz on a IPS monitor.

However, the ASUS PB278Q is very good choice for 27'' 1440p.

 i5 3570k @4.all over the place || CM Hyper TX3 Evo || ASRock Z77 professional-m || 8GB G.SKILL Ripjaws Z 2400mhz CL10 || MSI GTX770 2GB OC'd 1280/3825mhz || ADATA SP900 128GB || Fractal Design Arc Mini R2 || Logitech G502 || Audio Technica ATH-M50

This.

It uses Samsung's (I think) PLS pannel which are arguably some of the best IPS panels on the market.

Thanks, ive been considering the Acers 4k2k one, it comes out this friday for me. But it is not IPS,

The Asus seams like it would be really good but i dont know, it looks cheep :/

This LG IPS monitors look nice and good but are only 720p or 1080p, nothing higher.

I Want IPS since i mainly watch tv and prefer colours and what not to the other cheeper screens, And some of the LG ones are 10Bit colour insted of 8 Bit colour which alot of the monitors are. 10bit is much better.

If i got a 4k Non IPS monitor, how would it look different compared to a 1080p and 1440p IPS and 1440p Non IPS.

My Ideal Monitor will include:

  1. 27" - 34"
  2. IPS
  3. 10Bit
  4. 1440p or 4k
  5. G-Sync
  6. Decent ms response, not fussed.
  7. Supports Display port 1.4, HDMI 2.0 (for 4k at 60hz etc)
  8. And no weird back light problems lol

Doubt one exists but yeah ;(
