Which GPU should I buy?

A 980 would go nicely. Hell even a 970 would be a MASSIVE upgrade over what you already have.

Hi, I need a new gpu and i was wondering which one I should get I was thinking an evga superclocked reference 980 my current pc specs are:

motherboard: asus m5a97 (no sli)

cpu: amd fx8350

gpu: sapphire radeon r7 250 2gb ddr3

case: thermaltake chaser mk-1

storage: 2tb baracuda hdd

psu: shaw 700w

and a dvd writer

I wouldn't go reference, but EVGA is my personal favourite.

With that CPU? I don't think you should get anything over a 280X or GTX 760.

Only cards I buy, i still got a 8600 and a 9600 GT that still run, All EVGA. Just replace my EVGA GTX 580 for an GTX 980.
