I heard that I need to run some kind of test before I want to try overclocking my CPU.  I have a pentium k processor and I was curious if there were any tests that you would recommend I run before overclocking. Thanks ^_^

You run the tests after overclocking to make sure its stable. Use intel XTU.

Usually reason to run test before is to check whats the auto voltage you are getting under full load and what the temps are. Those are good starting points if you are first time overclocker.
