Hey guys, I am planning to build my first gaming PC soon but i don't know what parts i should get.

They budget i am on is about $900(But i can go a bit over that)

I want to build a future-proof PC that can run current games with the highest possible settings that my budget can buy.

I don't care about brands such as Intel and AMD, all i care about is how well a system preforms

i would also like to know what 24" monitor i should buy.

I would appreciate any help of suggestions with my build.

Alloting $70 for case, not going to choose for you because of personal preference
AMD FX-8320 - $140
ASUS M5A99FX Pro - $145 (swap this if going mATX or mITX)
Some 2x4GB 1600 CL9 DDR3 RAM - $70-80
ASUS R9 280 DirectCU II - $225
1TB HDD - $50
Corsair CX500 - $50
CM 212 Evo - $35
Acer G6 Series G246HLAbd - $140
$935 total, I'm sure it could be under $900 if you look for deals.
All prices are in USD and are from http://www.newegg.com/

Logical Increments is always a good place to start. Plus, if you find out how much a given build will cost where you are, then you can decide which parts to improve or cut back on to match your price point.
