anyone else having issues with youtube?

i have 25mb down and 3mb up and starting today my default quality is 144p and it buffers and stops buffers and stops on all my computers. if i go here it says  http://canadianoutages.com/status/youtube that 90% are have issues with watching videos

Have you tried using a VPN? Could be your ISP being a dick.

Hotspot Shield has a free version. If you search, there's loads of lists of free ones.

If you don't mind paying i'd suggest private internet access for your vpn. It has worked better for me than hotspot shield. I'm not sure why but after using hotspot shield for 4-6 months it started to load youtube really slowly. So I bought a different vpn.

 

And hotspot shield's app doesn't fu**ing work on mac. :angry:

that actually worked my youtube is fixed! guess my isp is being assholes.... i called them two weeks ago saying i was canceling my subscription and going to "fiber-op"  i meet the guy who owns it and the guy gave me a offer i couldn't resist..... 100mb down 30mb up with all tv channels and phone included also unlimited bandwidth for 119$ for 5 years
