Linux Mint 13 - new / other Taskbar?

Hey guys,

 

I'm currently using Linux Mint 13 KDE and I'm pretty happy with it.

 

But there is one thing that bothers me quite a bit: when I open a lot (actually not even that many) of different programms, I'm running out of space on my taskbar pretty quickly, because Mint / KDE has the same taskbar like Win XP. (this is what I'm talking about: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/85/Desktop_Linux_Mint_9_KDE.png ) 

 

Is there a way to get the same taskbar like in Windows 7 OR a Docking Station like in Mac OS X?

I've googled quite a bit by now, but haven't found anything that fits well.
