Suggestion for Upgrade PLEASE

So i've had this pc for about 2 year now, and pretty happy with it but....i think it is time for me to spend some money again to upgrade it so i have about $500 to spend on it....what would be your suggestions please

i5 2500k 3.30ghz

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-H67MA-USB3-B3

Ram Kingston Hyperx 8GB DDR3

Power supply Coolermaster 550wats

Video card Nvidia GTS 250

If you ask me try to snack a cheap used 780 TI and try to spend some money on CPU cooling and overclock it

GPU, the 2500K is only about 10-15% slower than a 4690K which is nothing, GTX 970 or R9 290 would be the best choice.
