Hey guys,

so at first, I was having issues with TF2. It would loop sound, then freeze permanantly. Sometimes, it would say hl2.exe has stopped working. Drivers crashed at the same time too.

Now, after getting Robocraft, it also crashes. Instead of going black, though, it goes white, then it says robocraft.exe has stopped working, and the drivers crashed too. My youtube video went black too, although audio still worked.

I am running CCC 14.4. I have my specs in my bio.

I have tried reinstalling, tried beta drivers, tried 13.12 (13.12 almost bricked my computer. not doing it again).

Your 290 isn't powerful enough for TF2, Duh.

Try Chris' config so you can really get that Fps on TF2 B)

But this used to happen to me when I played tf2 on my laptop rarely, but stopped when I built my pc with a 750ti.

It sounds like a driver problem but with reinstalled drivers I don't what it could be.

Maybe a defective card? If you still have a return policy I would highly recommend returning. If you can, try putting the GPU in another computer and see if the problem persists.

It's not a defective card, it works perfectly on everything else. Just Robocraft and TF2, and I suspect drivers. I just don't know how to fix it.

I got enough FPS on TF2 :P

Yeah, I think it's a driver problem too.

Try enabling vSync on both games. Just to test.
