you should go with 2x4 ram instead of 1x8

stock cooler is fine unless you want lower temps or a quieter cpu cooler

no point of getting a z97 if you have a locked cpu, either get a h series board or get a unlocked cpu

you have a LOCKED cpu, you can't overclock the cpu. 

not really, if your fine with the performance then don't oc the cpu.
