I'm having a problem with a new build where I power on, all fans (including GPU) spin, LED's light up. However after a few seconds it all turns off and on again. It doesn't post, and there's no signal from the GPU.

I've been using the PC with the iGPU while sorting this out and everything else works fine.

I RMA'd the GPU and they found it to be fine. So I'm assuming it's not the GPU.

So far i've tried: Disabling the iGPU. Updating the BIOS. Trying in the other PCIe slot. Running without peripherals and outside the case.

I was beginning to think it was the motherboard. However everything worked fine when I plugged in my friends 780.

I now think it might be the PSU. The box says it requires a minimum of 750W. I looked on the internet and people said the 600W PSU should do fine. However I've heard the CX series isn't that high a quality and maybe this is the problem? I quickly looked at some power usages for the 780 and 280X, and the 780 uses slightly less power. Could my PSU be too low wattage for it?

If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it. I've been sorting this out for weeks and I'm getting tired of it. Thanks.

I did try it briefly, however I was in a rush and needed to get out quickly. When we tried the system powered on and remained on (didn't do the restart thing). However there was no display.

I plan to go over again when I have the time to test again.
