Do you need the blu-ray drive?

There are better PSU's then the RM psu's, e.g. EVGA 850 G2

SSD is overpriced, you should get a 840 evo for cheaper

You could also get a cheaper HDD like the seagate barracuda or WD blue.

You could also go for cheaper ram, bu if you think the aesthetics are worth and extra $80~ then go for it.

I would also go for windows 8.1

CPU: Intel Core i5 4460 | GPU: XFX r9 280x DD BLACK OC EDITION | RAM: 8gb Kingston HyperX Fury 1600Mhz | Mobo: Gigabyte h97n-WIFI | PSU: EVGA 600B | Case: Cooler Master Elite 120 | Cooler: Stock intel | SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120gb | Storage: WD 150 gb

CPU: Intel Core i7 4710MQ | GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 850M | RAM: 8gb Corsair 1600Mhz | Mobo: Metabox WA50SJ Motherboard | Case: Metabox WA50SJ case | Cooler: Stock | SSD: Sandisk 256gb

Best purchase this year, bcuz forza

Cheers, I want an optical drive so i decided to go with a Blu-Ray/DVD combo. I'll have another look at my PSU choice as a couple of people have said there are better options. Ill stick with the WD Black and might drop to the 840 as it is $100 cheaper, and could save a bit on ram. Not so sure about windows 8.1 though.

Only go with the blu-ray drive if you need it otherwise just go for a standard optical drive and save a couple of bucks. Why do you want to the WD black? What colour scheme do you want, I am guessing red?

I also recommend windows 8.1

Seems like a good solid performer. I didn't really go for any colour scheme it has just turned out red and black. Might go with 8.1, still undecided.

Evga 1300 watt g2 if you can catch it on sale. On performance for ssd's I say get the cheapest honestly. I have an 840 EVO 256gb and it seems slow as balls compared to my wife's Kingston 60gb 40 dollar drive. And I agree...windows 8.1 is the way to go.
