Hi all

Recently my computer has been suffering from stutter or lag, every 10 or so seconds the computer will freeze completely. So if i am watching a video the picture will freeze and the audio will continue and then will sync back up after around 3 seconds. I first started getting this lag after i got a number of blue screens while playing Counter Strike Global Offensive.

Does anyone have any possible solutions to my issue? Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, Gregas

Edit:

Specs as follows

Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

MSI GTX 660ti 2 way SLI (slightly overclocked)

Intel core i5 3470 (not overclocked)

8gb ram (not sure what model)

Asus p8z77-v pro motherboard

1TB hardrive

Corsair GS700 PSU

Let us say it is a heat issue.  First take temperature readings of your video card and compare them to norms you find for it on the manufacturer's site and other temps mentioned in information around the net.  Then go inside the pc and clean the dust out if there is any.  Heck you should be doing that every so often anyway.  Do all this and see where you are at then.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

My card's idle temperatures are quite normal, not sure what the temperatures are under load but i am not having issues while under load,  i am running into these issues with only Google chrome and team speak 3 open.
