Hello everyone,

My name is Reggie and I would consider myself to be very new to computers and I basically know nothing about them.  I'm building a gaming PC for streaming and I would like to know if my build is good.  And good as in, high performance and can run graphic demanding games easily on High or Ultra.

Here is my pcparts list:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/W9Dh23

My main objective is to stream games, but at the same time, I will be using this computer for animations and art creations since I will be an art/animation major in college.

I'd appreciate any feedback that you guys could offer, and if there is anything I can do to either make the price cheaper without sacrificing any performance or increase the performance while either decreasing the price or keeping it generally around the 16k mark.

Thank you once again,

Reggie.

I would say swap the 770 for a 970

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

I was only 9 years old. I loved Fifflaren so much, I had all the NiP merchandise and matches pirated. I prayed to Fifflaren every night before bed. Thanking him for the life I have been given. Fifflaren is love I say. Fifflaren is life. My dad hears and calls me a fuckhead. I knew he was just jelly of my passion for Fifflaren. I called him a Sw@yer. He hits me and sends me to go to sleep. I'm crying now, and my face hurts. I lay in bed and it's really cold. A warmth is moving towards me. I feel someone touching me. I feel someone touching me. It's Fifflaren. I am so happy. He whispers in my ear; "this is my pyjama". He grabs me with his powerful Swedish hands and puts me on my hands and knees. I'm ready. I spread my ass cheeks for Fifflaren. He penetrates my butt-hole. It hurts so much but I do it for Fifflaren. I can feel my butt tearing as my eyes start to water. I push against his force. I want to please Fifflaren. He roars a viking roar as he fills my butt with his love. My dad walks in. Fifflaren looks straight into his eyes and says; "He is a ninja now". Fifflaren is love, Fifflaren is life

i would be careful with the 4790K they have a higher heat output then the 4770k under load and the most that you can possibly get out of it is 4.8 with a bit of over volting, also i have had really good luck with the cougar fans they amazingly quiet and move a ton of air

And with this, its the same performance and or better?  For streaming games as well as animation making?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

you'll definitely want a 970 instead of a 770, much more powerful and costs exactly the same. You can also get a 120GB SSD for the same price as your 64GB one, so I'd definitely recommend that. Otherwise the build is looking solid. You might want to get some RAM that color-matches your motherboard a little better and you also might want to upgrade to 16GB in the future, if you're going to be animating and rendering.

Better. For gaming, streaming is the same because CPU is the same and for animations if you can use CUDA for acceleration then it will be better also.

So i should get the 4770K because it would run cooler but the same performance?

someone told me to switch the 4790K with 4770K, do you think I should? they said the 4770 would run the same but cooler than the 4790

Actualy its the other way around. 4790k is cooler than 4770k because it is enhanced 4770k.

4790k has all the faults which 4770k had "repaired".

4790k performs better because it is clocked higher on stock settings (overclocking depends on how lucky you wil be with chip quality).
