Robocraft has similar style but resembles less of Minecraft.

I wouldn't consider Terraria anywhere near a ripoff of Minecraft, sure it has the same fundamental block-pixelated-building style, but they're quite different after that.

Probably Cube World. Which I purchased. And the dev has now seemingly abandoned. 

 

There's no saying for sure whether or not he actually plans to continue development, but I suppose there's good reason for slow development as it's only him and his wife (or girlfriend, don't remember). 

It would still be nice to receive an update every couple of weeks or something. Seems he's only posted 4 updates on twitter in the last year. He's tweeted a few more times than that, but after a few messages in a day he disappears for months.

There have only been two game updates in July 2013 since release. 

 

Oh well. Guess that's the risk you take buying an incomplete title.

There was this Minecraft knockoff in the Windows Store that was called Blockworld. Worst game. ever. I hate it. I regret getting the game, even when it's free.

Yes, this was the game I was thinking of. I think. Did they say it would have portals and crap to teleport to other players dimension?

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)
