Aesthetic

When you personally build a PC, how much emphasis do you put into aesthetic? I personally don't spend really any time at all. I like get a case with no window, so that way I can sort of ghetto rig the inside as needed. I do really appreciate a good looking build, but once I have my PC working the way I want I just close up the case and leave it. What about you? How much do you put into the aesthetic of your build?

i have alot of friends and family that are big into pc gaming and so we all put alot into making a nice clean build, its somewhat of a family competition and between my friends we just like to show off our builds and whatnot so we usually have a windowed side panel

When I put together new builds, every other build is a windowless build for ghetto-ness. And the builds with windows, I definitely put more thought into the aesthetics. I call the whole process: "The Ghetto Swap"

Well I'm planning to build a rig in a month or two and keeping it looking good is going to be a large part of the process. I guess it's more so of the hobby part of PC building as people enjoy it.

If possible I'd like things to look neat, but if looks has to be sacrificed for functionality I will do so.

I want my builds to look clean (good cable management, matching colors, etc.), That's also why i prefer cases with large windows.

I make it as nice as possible with the best use of the money. Bang for the buck > Looks. Perhaps $50-60 dedicated for the whole build if I want to get good looks.
