Asus Xonar ST Compatability

Hello LTT

 

My friend really wants to invest some money into a good soundcard, recently he found a special for around $100 for an Asus Xonar ST (http://www.asus.com/Essence_HiFi_Audio/Xonar_Essence_ST/).

I know that the STX is better for compatibility, but that is way above his budget, the STX is around $200 in South Africa.

 

He has this motherboard http://www.msi.com/support/mb/H67MAE35_B3.html#down-bios

The only other card he has at the moment is a MSI 660 ti.

Will he be able to use an Asus Xonar ST with the 660 ti?

 

Please ask for any more information that you might require.
