Hey Guys,

I´m havin graphical artifacts in all of my games. My CPU and GPU are both overclocked. Still got the same artifacts when I restore the clocks. I don´t really bother because I´m going to buy a new GPU in a short time. :) My question is if these artifacts could be caused by my CPU. It´s an AMD Phenom X6 1090T @ 3.8 GHZ. It passes Prime 95 without any problems.

Graphical Artifacts not caused by the GPU? I bought a new graphics card yesterday, it´s a new gtx 670. But I still got the same artifacts as before, but they don´t appear as often as before. Can be my CPU the problem? I really have no idea what to do, these artifacts are really annoying. Gonna try to post some screenshots here, so you know what I am dealing with.

Really unusual that changing the GPU didn't resolve the issue.

May as well try the below to rule out other possibilities

-different cable to monitor

-different connection type (VGA, DVI, HDMI)

-different monitor (if the artifacts don't show on screenshots it may be the monitor)

-reinstalling directx

-changing the PCIe slot

Okm going to try your tips. Is it IMPOSSIBLE that another component other than the GPU isn´t wokring correctly? Maybe RAM or MOBO? I´m definatelly going to try another pci-e slot. The card arrived in mail yesterday so I had no time to overclock it. :D GPU Tweak says the temperatures are 75 celsius at load. The strange thing is that I have the same artifacts as with my older graphics card except that they don´t appear that often anymore.

Try running Unigine Vally benchmark. Put it at Extreme HD. If you don't see any artifacts or some kind of black spots in the background than you're fine. :)

It doesn't seem to have any artifacts. Its probably your AA setting is off. I would try turning on some AA to see if it fixes it. I would run Heaven benchmark in order to see if your gpu is really creating artifacts.

It´s really hard for me to screenshot the flickering because therfore I need many pictures to compare but trust me, something is wrong here. Shadows and textures are not supposed to flicker I guess. Also I have strong Aliasing although I always turn on AA( even in Metro LL with 2xSSAA). I don´t have any idea if it could be a hardware or a software problem.

I've seen this in games and benchmarks as well. It's almost as if the edges are transparent. Seems like aliasing but different.

Are you forcing/injecting AA? Other than that, I believe it just happens with some games/benches. Espescially if visible with default clocks.
