Hello everyone

 

I am a long time watcher of Linus's YouTube channels and just now I joined the forums. (Sorry for being late :P)

 

I already posted a few times on the forums and try to read all the new posts, but I have a few questions:

 

- Where do I need to be for the community "events"?

- Is it possible to "apply" for some sort of job on the forums? 

 

For that last question I'll give you a little personal background: 

I'm a student in social media marketing, social media use for corporate use. 

Besides being a student and on social media 24/7, I'm a huge PC hardware enthusiast!

Hi. Welcome :)

 

- "events"(giveaways etc) will probably be in the linus videos and rambling section, and forum organized gaming events could be in the PC LFG section

 

- If there are moderator spots I think you'd be contacted personally about it if you were considered a candidate, but there are unofficial 'jobs' such as reporting spam posts and reposts :)

Hello :) Glad that you dropped in to say hello..

 

For community events i think it's kind of a mess right now , you just follow the crowd & follow linus or slick via twitter & you can see the upcoming events on the left side of the forum in a box(i think), for jobs, i think it'll be helpful if you can report spam posts or inappropriate comments via the report button & the respective mods can take care of it & also you can start your own threads that can bring community together or become a helpful troubleshoter on troubleshoot forums or everyother forum there is where members need your help & you can be very very useful.. i don't know whether you can apply for a mod position, already there are quite a few , other than that just enjoy the forum....
