The CPU is very good also they are 3.4GHz stock and 3.8GHz Turbo.

They should last you for quite some time... I'd suggest getting a better GPU for that though... 1 or 2 tiers above the 750Ti will serve you well...

 

The mobo should be a PCIe 2.0 so I'm not sure how performance would end up...

yes but for the GPU i'd strongly suggest looking at AMD product because at that price range of the 750ti you can get a radeon R9 270 or R9 270X for example that outperforms the 750ti by a very noticeable margin:

If you buy used you could also find a bargain on an HD7870 which is pretty much the same GPU
