do you guys thing that blackberry will be able to make a turnaround with some of their new phone releases in late 2014 + early 2015? i think it would be cool considering they used to be the king of the market in terms of phones :P every businessman had one.

if they ditch their awful OS and switch to Android, then yes.

yes. and it was pretty damn bad.

almost 0 developers make apps for it, and while it has support for some Android apps, they are usually too buggy to use.

the UI is ugly and dated, and looks like Android Froyo

You can side load android apps into BB10 and still remain with BB secure communications environment.

 

I don't think BB will ever be as popular as they were outside of business, but given their claimed popularity in Asian markets who knows.  I do think they can pull around and lift up quite a bit in the business and gov environments though.

Of they had an android device with a horizontal slide out keyboard then I'd switch.

They'll remain in business for the Asian markets, but I doubt they'll ever regain their market share in North America.
Especially with the devices they're putting out. Seriously, the Passport is stupid wide and the edges are too sharp.

 

I wish I'd bought stock when they were at $5 though. Could have more than doubled my money.
