NZXT H440 Case fans not powering on?

Go to solution Solved by FloRolf,

Which one?

yes this one. the PSU has a modular cable which looks almost like the molex just in female. Don't plug it into the psu directly.

Hello, i'm very close to completing my PC build - but I'm missing 1 last thing before it's ready to go!

My NZXT H440 Case fans are not working. (The CPU Cooler fan, GPU fans, and PSU fan all work!)

I have 2 cables in the back.

- The first cable is thin (Leads to the Fan Hub that controls all fans) (Can't be seen, but it is the top left of the fan hub which is in the middle.)

- The 2nd cable is thick with 4 thick pins in the inside. (11:18 in the video)

Too lazy to watch the video. I'm going to assume the 4 pin one is molex for your fan controller. Take that and plug it in to your power supply.

if you have only 2 cables in the back you are doing it wrong ;)

Plug the molex (4 thick pins) into the psu?

make sure the fan splitter has power by plugging in that thick connector to a matching connector on your power supply

if you have the side wide open it will stay cool enough to get through the bios to the fan curves.... but after reading about the molex not being plugged in i would say you aint got no powah
