Have you changed anything with the RAM allocation?

not since i reinstalled. It only has 1GB allocated to it.

since i suck at reading crash reports... are you running forge or any mods?

not anymore, but i did have crashes then too.

Reinstall java and see if your drivers are up to date.

already did. I even upgraded to 64bit java

Um sir remove your name from that log O.o

Open %appdata% .Minecraft and delete everything execpt:

/saves

/Resourcepacks

/options.txt

/optionsof.txt

/Servers.dat

This will force the game to retrieve new libraries. OpenGl Error also could refer to wrong vgadrivers.

Bye LTT. That was an interesting journey on this board. At least here you see how not to do it. I'll go shaking my head about this place.

Good point...

And i already backed up my saves and texturepacks and deleted everything else. Even the Minecraft.exe

it's fine. :) i'm glad you tried

You are running it on PC, that's why. Go get a console, a mountain dew, a bag of domino's, your mom's credit card for texture packs and skins then you are in business!

Console's not bad, but it's left in the dust on updates and texturepacks cost money. I also can't stand playing with a controller on MC. also, shaders :3

Have you tried from java 8? http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html Wild guess is to downgrade to the previous vga drivers.

how would i go about doing that with GeForce Experience?

You go to System -> Programms and uninstall if from there. Or into devicemanager and click uninstall drivers. Then restart your pc and download them from your vendors site.

I'll try it, but not quite yet. I'll see if there are other options. Drivers are simple, yet a pain in the butt in my opinion. Thanks for the help :)

Make sure your have the latest version/s of Java. 64 Bit AND 32 Bit. Some applications (like Google Chrome) use 32 Bit Java. Also, uninstall ALL previous versions of Java (32 Bit and 64 Bit) because they can also interfere with your game. You can also try setting a certain amount of RAM to Minecraft by opening the launcher,  going to Edit Profile (bottom left) enabling JVM Arguments and changing -Xmx1G to a -Xmx2G or -Xmx4G if need be. You don't need any more than -Xmx3G for modded Minecraft and the recommended vanilla amount is -Xmx1G anyways.

If all else fails, make a backup or your saves folder under %appdata% /.minecraft/saves and delete the comeplete .minecraft folder and launcher and redownload everything. Then put your saved worlds back in the saves folder.

If you are using a laptop, you may have Switchable Graphics. Right click on your desktop and select Configure Switchable Graphics (AMD) or NVIDIA Control Panel (NVIDIA Obviously...) and change the currently used graphics processor to use the High Performance preset.

And if all else fails, you can update all of your drivers OR get a clean install of Windows.

I'm running 64-Bit chrome, but i will install 32-bit Java 8 and get back to you. I'm already running 64-Bit Java 8. I'll also try different amounts of RAM. I wanted to leave it vanilla as a controlled test.

I've already backed up all my saves and uninstalled it. I deleted the .minecraft folder and the .exe and did a full re-install. didn't work.

I'm on a desktop. I'm pretty sure core 2 quads don't have iGPUs, so i don't believe that's an issue.

I'm thinking it might be an issue with cloning my HDD to my SSD. i'll do a clean install when wind.9 comes out. I have games that still work fine, so i'm not worried.

32-Bit Java and 4G RAM didn't help. i even tried older Java versions.

Maybe Microsoft already released a patch to make it better. HAHAHAHA! No, they just make everything worse.

I'm more worried about Notch leaving than microsoft owning the company. Also, if you're just going to be snide, there are other threads for you.
