I'm more worried about Notch leaving than microsoft owning the company. Also, if you're just going to be snide, there are other threads for you.

 

Sorry for the off-Topic. Is is singleplayer MC? And did you try a different version of Minecraft like 1.6.4? I once had a similar Error, but that was with a MC Server.

It's single player MC 1.8. I've had the issue since 1.7.10, but i was playing on 1.7.10 and older for a while before the problem occured. I haven't tried anything older than 1.7.
