Thanks for the information.  That makes me want to vomit and pretty much guarantees I won't be getting a PS4 at launch but with the way I use the current generation console, the PS3, I am not sure I should care to have one.  I got it on the cheap and use it to watch blu-ray/3D movies and that is that pretty much.  I spent $199.99 on it.  No way I am spending way more on a PS4.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Be wary of placeholder prices. They can't be considered "information" because they're simple purpose is to open preorders for an item on a etailer's website. Until Sony and MS announce a price (hopefully today) consider any price you see as false. As an example, Watch Dogs, when announced, popped up for $70 on Amazon. Currently it's around $60 for PC, and $100 for PS4/XBO, so my advice is take them with a grain of salt until you hear it from the horse's mouth.

600 pounds is a lot (it is nearly 1000 dollars). However, they usually high-ball pre-order prices (makes the customer feel all fuzzy and warm inside when they end up paying less than they thought they would.
