Intel 4th Gen 'Haswell' CPUs available from 2nd June AEST

so does that mean that they don't profit off cpu sales at all,or does it mean that they just don't allow the use of the employee discount on certain products?

Micro Center offers the cheapest prices on CPUs because they sell them at cost in order to bring in more business.

yeah thats what I thought,that they sold at that price and rely on motherboard,case,psu,etc profits to make up for it.

Exactly. It's also why Micro Center officially has a one CPU per day limit except in cases when they're being used in full builds. Your local Micro Center is where I work, by the way. :)
