Computer parts for an gaming computer HELP!

Erafnaf

Okay here we go.

I need help to choose parts to build an "OK" gaming computer.
Honestly I want to hear what you guys would recommend.

Some facts:

* I've got a budget on about 500 dollar.

* Only looking for m-ATX motherboard, psu, CPU, GPU or APU (and CPU cooler)

* Allready looked at the: pentium G3258 with EVGA gtx 750ti FTW OR AMD A10-7850k CrossFire with r7 250 (or another better GPU if posible?)

ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? :D

I know you wanted m-ATX but those mobos aren't good overclockers on the AM3+ chipset. I gave you a new case to fit the ATX board.

I would get a i3 or i5, 750 ti, Asus M-Atx motherboard, 8gb ram, 1tb HDD the price is up to you, but get good company names so you have grantees and you know they are going to be good quality, and I recommend a quad core try to avoid dual core, also what suits your needs is it intense gaming, moderate or light gaming, also do you do CAD if so you will need more cores, hoped this help

I would like to get the Pentium G3258 with the GTX 750 Ti (or you can get a GTX 660 refurbished for pretty cheap), BUT without a Z97 motherboard you will have to run at stock speed. The Z97 allows to overclock to where it should be for better gaming, also it cost a bit more but well worth it.

Not considering a monitor , mouse or keyboard, just the pc itself and an operating system, I wouldnt spend any less than $800 or so. It really depends on what you want to achieve as far as fps or graphic settings and stuff like that, but up untill a certain point if you spend more money up front , you will be better off in the long run. Also I check pc parts on pcpartpicker multiple times a day, just cause I have nothing better to do, and the prices of stuff fluctuates daily. Always be looking for the best sales n promo codes on various retailers websites. So basically, if it were me , I would spend no less than $800 and no more than about $1600 to get the most for your money.

Tnx, but her is the problem xD Im from norway (the land of expencive stuff) but thank's anyways helps me alot :)

But if I had to choose between the Pentium G3258 with gtx 750ti or the amd a10-7850k crossfire r7 250 ( what can the a10 crossfire with) what should i choos. You see am gaming on my 3 year old Dell xps with i7-2200qm, 8gb 1333hz ram and gt555m, im sick of it its noisy and runnig to hot.

I build two of my friends PC's but thay had a much higher budget than i have (sadley) Tnx aniway ^^,

Your best bet is an athlon 760k paired with an r7 260x or 265 maybe even a 750 ti

Depending on how much you want to spend on the diferent parts of your computer. Ram shpuld probably de 4gb and try not to go overbored on the motherboard (pun intended)

Maybe you should try to just go with a CPU instead of going with a GPU you could get a better CPU and just use integrated graphics until you get up some more money

Get the Athlon x4 750k (The 7850k minus the integrated GPU) and what money you save you should be able to get the r9 270. Trust me you will get much more performance vs the other set-up. Jay got 85 fps with the r9 270 but with 7850k. So maybe 5 fps lost at the most.

You may want to look into a Zotac Zbox EN760, It's closer to 7 or 800 dollars and uses laptop parts aside from pc parts (though it is still able to outperform the latest generation consoles like the ps4 and xbox one). But it's very small, I hear it's quiet, and performs pretty well for the price methinks. So if you can wait it out to get a bit of a higher budget I'd go with that. Linus did a review video if you want to learn more.
