HELP! I am sure I am getter slowed down

I am in London and my internet provider is virgin media and I am sure they are slowing me down. This has been going on for a week now and I am getting annoyed, I have been with them for about two years now. My first 2 weeks where AMAZING then they started to slow me down and now I can only watch youtube in 480p I used to be able to watch in 1080p!

 

Please tell me how to get solid evidence about this (not a speed checker)

What speeds are in your package? Are you using wireless or cable?

So if you try to watch 1080p it buffers?

Hi From London ! The best way if found too see if have been actively throttled is to use a VPN (such as HotSpot Shield) and compare wether if the speeds recover. I found  I was being throttled and then switched to using a VPN which meant my connection returned to max speeds. Hope this helps!

When you guys get the internet: 1 You go to speedTest and mesure you internet dowload speed 

then when you realize you your internet is getting slower then test it again and you can then complain
