So, I want a computer....

Hello, My 18th birthday is Sept. 30 and I want to build a gaming rig. I have about $300-$400 to spend give or take, and I have to buy everything except a monitor, keyboard, and a mouse. I would like it to stay at 30 fps or more on at least medium settings. I am also starting online classes, so I want it to be dependable. Can anyone please help me?

Thank you in advance :D

Welcome to the forum! :)

I'm going to see what I can do for you in a few minutes.

One question, would you want the PC to be compact and not have really lots of space for expansion, a big tower with tons of room for expansion, or something between those 2?

All right, I've made a rig for you. It's a bit over 400$ but it should be fine for gaming at medium settings, or even higher settings in a bit older titles.

Wow that was fast! Thank you!

If you have a copy of Windows 7/8 then go for vern02's list as it is more powerful and has better quality parts, however if you don't then mine will fit your needs.

Take this one, actually looks fairly good. Really upgrade-able.
