Best Driving Simulation Game...

Hey, Guys...

In some days I'm purchasing a Thrustmaster RGT Force Feedback Clutch Edition in some days...

So, Wondering about games...

Tell me the best driving simulation games available on market...

I don't want a Racing Game like NFS, Dirt, GRID, etc...

I want a game where I can enjoy driving...

Test Drive 2 Unlimited one of the best open world driving game I've ever played. But sadly Atari's server was closed down like few years ago so I don't know the status of that game atm. SpinTires is also not bad if you are into off roading. That will seriously test your driving skills and patience. Euro truck Simulator 2 if you are into trucks (also one of my favourite). If you have an XBox 360, Forza Horizon is also one of the best open world driving game. Some mentioned City Car Driving. I think that game you can install mods for different kinds of cars.

Shift 2 Unleashed.  I bought it yesterday from G2A for about $10 haven't put it down since

For online multiplayer iracing is hands down without a doubt the best. But it can get expensive. Other than the monthly/yearly subscription fee, expect to spend at least a couple hundred dollars on cars and tracks.

Driver San Francisco (2011) is my favorite driving game. It's hella fun and has races in the story.

Euro truck simulator is pretty cool if you have a steering wheel and pedals instead of an keyboard and mouse.

A lot of what is being suggested here are not sim games (TDU2, Forza, NFS Shift 2, etc.).

@Ashish Sharma-RSi - are you looking for racing sim games, or just driving sim games?

Either way, I highly recommend the following for both realism and graphics:

-Assetto Corsa

-R3E (Race Room: Racing Experience) this is F2P on steam

-iRacing

-F1-2013 (boarder-line arcade/sim - with all assists turned off and difficulty on max, it can be quite challenging. F1-2014 is being released soon which I'm pumped about. Can't wait to drive the new turbo-V6's) If you're not an F1 fan, this game is probably not for you.

-SpinTires (this is an off-road driving sim, not racing. Currently there is no in-vehicle camera but the devs say they are working on it. Regardless, it's an awesome game that requires a fair amount of patience and thinking/strategy.)

I've never tried any of those trucker games, so can't comment on them.

May I ask how much that wheel/pedal combo costs and where you're buying it from?

Personally I really like the Logitech GT27 (has proper 6-gate manual shifter) and hope to be getting one soon to replace my very old Driving Force GT wheel and pedals which I've had since playing GT4 on PS2 (yeah, it's that old, lol). :P

LFS is an excellent racing sim, in terms of realistic physics. But... dem graphics... lol

Assetto Corsa is one of the best newer racing sims available in terms of physics and visuals, IMO. And this is coming from someone who has real-life racing experience...

Assetto Corsa and iRacing are some nice sims, maybe Project Cars too but I don't know yet about this game.

Also Euro Truck Simulator 2 is surprisingly a lot of fun and very relaxing (at least to me). Quite enjoyable, but of course it's not a racing game.
