Do I need a bigger PSU?

Go to solution Solved by simtransporter,

Hi, I have an Intel i5 4670K and a Corsair CX600M and I was going to upgrade to an i7 4790K. Would there be any reason to upgrade my PSU along with the CPU?

My full specs are a GTX 780 SC ACX, Intel Core i5 4670K with Hyper 212 Evo cooler, Corsair CX600M PSU, 8GB ram, a Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H, 3 case fans and Windows 7 64 bit.

No worries at all, your PSU is more than capable.   There isn't a massive power difference between the two CPUs anyway.
