Well that looks pretty good so far I´d say you tweaked quite a notch on those babies . I´ll edit it right away .

Nah its the PSU plus keep in mind Windows 7 scores lower for Firestrike/Skydiver from what I've seen

ok then. i'll have to do for now then. i might try and get a tiny bit more and break 16000 and i need to buy the advanced version in a steam sale.

I picked it up almost a year ago and use it about 5-6 times a day testing different things as far as ram timings, CPU clocks, and GPU stuff

I bought it on steam yesterday because I can´t be the one that does all work on the sheet and not having a retail version lol . Makes me look a bit cheap haha .

I don't know if 754 hours messing with Precision X 16 on steam is enough hours with my 770's as far as tweaking.
But yet I only have 30 hours on 3D Mark

That´s insane man. I´d really like to see of what you are capable of if you had liquid nitrogen.

 

I´m just happy that I could turn off the damn demo in 3D Mark haha makes it so much better to benchmark.

Maybe it´s Windows7 or something else holds you back a bit. The score isn´t bad but you should have a higher score with this OC. Your CPU is OCed balls to the wall and an Ivy i7 never bottlenecks a single GTX970. But you should be around 11500 score wise with your system.

Its defiantly WIndows 7 look at the CPU Score, its 1000+ points lower then it should be

That´s really a huge difference, unbelievable.

 

Okay but then the score makes perfect sense. If you look at yours and add this to Jumper118 score then his result would be where it should be.

Yeah its kinda lame that just a OS can make that much of a difference with a score.

But you know it´s not the first time that I see that. I saw this in Valley Benchmark but the other way around where Win8 wasn´t good for the benchmark and with Crystal Diskmark. Win8 makes a big difference, since my SSD got way higher score in Crystal with Win8.1.

its because of a fault with windows 8 that makes time go faster than i should if you overclock your cpu. thats why windows 8, 8.1 and 10 are band on hwbot

Not for 3DMark its not. Check the rules for Vantage and Firestrike

how long has that been in the rules? i know they were allowed to use windows 8 at AOOC this year because none of the SSD's provided would work with windows 7

Since the start of this year they made an Exception for PCMark and 3DMark.
