So I have been wondering lately. I want to build a streaming computer, streaming from my main to the streaming PC then to the Internet. Do I need a capture card on the streaming PC? How do get the audio from my main to the streaming PC and headphones, audio splitter? Currently I have a external capture card, the live gamer portable. The problem I'm currently facing is that I can't set my monitor to 1080p 144hz because of the limitation of the capture at 1080p 60hz...  Any help?

Edit~ English OP?!

a streaming computer, main computer to stream PC then Twitch

Wait, what? Could you put that in a proper sentence?

And you can stream to twitch with software, you don't need a dedicated card.

Sorry, I was rushing it.

Currently I have my main computer, I don't want to lose performance when I stream. So I heard about a streaming PC, I just have a few questions about it. Do I need a capture card for the streaming PC while gaming on the main? How do I get the audio from the main computer to the streaming pc and my headphones at the same time, Audio splitter

It would be MUCH cheaper to just upgrade your PC a little and you will be perfectly fine for streaming.

Well, that doesn't really answer my questions. Of course upgrading would be cheaper, but I'm just wondering because I keep seeing streaming PC builds with no capture card. Just wondering how they're getting the video and audio signal to the streaming computer?

instead of spending a few hundred dollars on a PC to stream with, just upgrade your current build

INTEL CORE I5 4670K | NVIDIA GTX 980 | NOCTUA NH-L9i | GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SLI | KINGSTON 120GB V300

CM STORM QUICKFIRE TK | BENQ XL2420TE | ROCCAT SAVU | FRACTAL DEFINE R4

I think you're a little confused. These "streaming PCs" you are talking about do both the gaming and the uploading. It's basically just a normal PC that you stream with. It's not connected to another computer. It is just a standalone gaming PC that streams to twitch.

a capture card is for console streaming unless you bounce the signal from the gpu to the capture card and then to streaming software if im not wrong

Stream from your main pc? i don't see a need to have a whole extra pc to stream from. if you are streaming console games get a capture card.. the only way i could see you streaming from another pc is if you were to screen share which would already reduce quality before streaming it to twitch which would reduce the quality again, also your main pc would have better specs and would be able to deal with the encoding better than an entire dedicated pc having to receive all the information, encoding it then sending it, the quality loss would be crazy... also i don't even think it is possible?

some people have "streaming pcs" where they just play on that pc and stream from it also if that is what you are thinking

Yes Yes Legalize Gay Marriage sure, but have you ever considered Weaponizing Gay?
