Hello guys, here is my issue: I tried to fix a screen tearing problem by twitching the OC capability of my Sapphire Vapor-X R9 290 tri-xx OC Edition and it resulted in weeks of crashing, black screens, power problem and all sorts of nasty things. I am pretty sure all I need to do to solve my hellish problem is to reset the OC of my card back to stock level, but I can't seem to find anyway to do this. the Tri-xx software from sapphire needed to be deleted because it was making my PC crash, and even now, If i dont flip a switch on my motherboard, the PC will begin to power up on boot only to turn off 3 sec later. here are my specs:

Motherboard: asus crosshair-v formula-z

CPU: fx-8350

GPU: sapphire vapor-X r9 290 Tri-xx OC

RAM: radeon memory RG 2133 2 x 8 Gb

PSU: ThermalTake smart M750w

1 HDD, 1 SSD

PLZ help.

I think the switch he's flipping to even boot is the clear CMOS

:|  well then take the battery out for a few minutes? that should reset everything right?

by R.I.P you mean there is no way? I know it might not be as easy as to press the "reset your OC profile", but is there no turn around?

if you have a crappy nvidia gpu? just throw that in there? see if it boots in safe mode.

can you even boot in safe mode?

I was able to delete the tri-xx OC software in safe mode to be able to at least boot the PC. so now it works pretty much like a russian submarine: It works fine if you ignore the water leaks. have lots of glitches in the screen and brightness random changes.
