When trying to clean RAM, do not use an eraser. Use Q-Tips and Rubbing alcohol.

If you rubbed it against the PCB, your RAM might be dead. Did you leave any of the pieces erasers leave behind on the ram or did you wipe them off? If you left any of the erasings on a contact, then the contact likely died of ESD, which might be giving you trouble. If you 100% didn't leave any, then it might be another issue.

Honestly you're best off RMA'ing the RAM. Then again, it might not be a RAM only issue. It could be other things too that are causing your computer to constantly reboot.

What are your specs?

How many sticks do you have? Are they all dead? If you are not sure test them by running one stick at a time, see which ones work and which ones don't.

It's unlikely that all your sticks are dead, are you sure it's not a problem with the motherboard? Have you tried clearing cmos?

EDIT: Ignore the above, I wrote that before seeing your newest post. It seems like you have a defective DIMM.

In all seriousness that stick sounds defective, RMA. But in future don't rub an eraser on it, erasers flake off bits of rubber that impede electrical current, which will make the situation worse.
