Hi all!

So i just got a new motherboard, CPU and GPU, which i installed today. However as i was moving from AMD to Intel, i decided to reinstall my OS. I installed it over the old one, to keep my old license, using the 'custom install' option. However, now every time i reboot my pc, whether it's from the system itself, the reset button or the BIOS, it never actually boots up again. I just get a black screen, with my monitor saying: "No signal found. Entering sleep mode.", and i have to force shut down the PC, and then start it again. I'm using a MSI Z87-G45 gaming motherboard with an Intel Core i5 4690K CPU.

If you need any more information, please let me know.

Thank you in advance!

Now how are you going to do that if you can't get in to windows...

@gammarik Remove the gpu and try to boot off the onboard graphics.

"and i have to force shut down the PC, and then start it again. I'm using a MSI Z87-G45 gaming motherboard with an Intel Core i5 4690K CPU."

Implying that it's working when he forces it to shut down.

Update dem drivers

I just installed a BIOS update from the MSI website. It works now! However, my problem now is that i don't have any internet connection. The Killer Network Ethernet drivers had no effect what-so-ever, and even the newest drivers from their website didn't work. Windows just tells me that "there are no connections available", as if it just can't see the cable. Even the diagnostic tells me that i have to put a cable in the computer, which tried with 3 different cables. Do you think my port is defective, or is it another drive/BIOS problem?

Thank you in advance, again!

Probably driver related if it just started now.

Make sure the adapter is enabled in the network connection settings

No, it's been a problem all along. I was just gonna make a second post about it. But i thought it probably belonged in this forum as well, so i'm gonna spam it. It seems to be enabled.

Supposedly Killer is not working for some on Windows 8/8.1

A lot of people have had to purchase NIC's.
