When do AMDs next generation gpus launch?

There is a lot of talk about the 800 series from nvidia arriving soon, but is that actually going to happen?

 

Won't both amd and nvidia wait until TSMC gets its 20nm ready for mass production?  Why have nvidia launch now on the semi dated 28nm process just to be leap frogged by amd in a few more months (or whatever it is).

 

 

I'm guessing amd will just price cut its gpus further for the holidays, and then launch their next generation gpus in early to mid 2015.

I am impelled not to squeak like a grateful and frightened mouse, but to roar...

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

That guy is the bravest person I've ever seen.  He stares into the darkness of the fog of war and release dates, and spits out whatever he can think of.  Absolutely NO FEAR of losing readers and credibility.  He is fearless.  If speculation was a power source, we could shut down every coal and natural gas plant on the earth with his site alone.  That is how impressive he is.

 

So no throwing shade his way.  We owe him our respect and allegiance.  Every here, drop down on bended knee and swear fealty to our lord of whispers, wcctech siterunner.
