what pics can you post

Ive always wondered what decides whether you can post a pic or not so i end up just trying different pics until it works. so does anyone know? also ltt forums is a little slow today, hows everyone going (should this be in off topic?)

It probably has a system that looks for bad words (like dirty websites, illegal stuff.) and doesn't allow you to post links/pics with those blocked words.

do you mean image format or image source?

 

Image format are all the usual suspects, jpeg, PNG, gif etc. 

 

For source it depends on the hosting server, some servers won't let you display their image, you just need to use a photo sharing site like photobucket.

Upload straight to forum allows only jpg, gif and png. Other formats (svg is one not working) can be done by linking from another upload site. As for experiencing problems with image not showing, you need the url ending with .<iamge format>. Anything other will show as link or not work.
