Battlefield after Hardline

hey guys I playe a couple of BF titles(bc2,bf3,p4f,1943) and they are good at what they do but Hardline is kind of changing the theme of BF by putting it into mostly urban environments(which i personaly like) but it just doesnt feel the same. I remember BF to be big open maps with loads of tanks and helicopters and explosions everywhere and you won't get that in a cops and robbers game. 

 

My question here is: How will BF continue after Hardline? Will the next BF games also focus on cops and robbers? Or will it go back to what BF2,3,4 are?

probably teh same as bf4/3 becuase hardline is made by a diffrent studio and such

I think DICE will go for the war kinda theme and Viceral Studios will go for cops and robbers and that the BF franchise will have 2 years between every theme like one year the BF game that comes out is War Themed and the year after that it will be Cops and Robbers theme and the year after that it will be war ect. 

 

I don't know for sure but that is pretty possible in my mind

This is probably true yeah, Hardline if an attempt from a different studio, DICE themselves will go on with normal BF.

I guess Hardline will be a new brand created by a diffirent studio, DICE will work on normal BF/BC and Visceral will make sequels if Hardline is successful.

EA may try to counter COD which releases every year by skipping between these 2 brands.

War Theme 1st year

Random Theme 2nd year

War Theme 3rd year

Random Theme 4th year

 

Like COD did with treyarch ,.. having one games team release on a year, and another companies team the next year.

 

I see this being a thing...

Hardline is just medal of honor renamed to make more sales. Personally as a bf fan i hope they take a break and make the best star wars game ever then 2 years later release bf5 or bfbc3 (lets hope the latter)

Well personally I hope DICE go and make Bad Company 3 :3 and refine Battlefront 3 before they release Battlefield 5.

Doesn't everyone think that BC3 is next, not BF5?

I hope they just nail down the core mechanics and game flow before anything else. Battlefield 3 was amazing and I hoped that BF4 would improve further but sadly they did the opposite. I have given it a fair chance with 300 hours yet every time I play it I dislike it more.

TLDR: Make sure it works first.

There will be a break from Battlefield after Hardline because they're working on Star Wars Battlefront 3 and Mirror's Edge.

Maybe we'll get Bad Company 3 in 2016.

Funny that they say that as bc2 was miles better than bf3 or 4. It had better gun handling, sound effects, destruction, explosions etc etc.

I want WWII themed Battlefield or 1942 remake. That would be epic.
