Hey guys!

So it seems a lot of people are requesting a new skin for the forums, and I totally agree. I've started mocking up a skin concept and I was looking for some input. I'm trying to make it as nice as I can, and maybe we can actually get the mods to use it! :D

that is amazing, it would be awesome if they would open up to mod support and let you choose skins

I personally like that skin, it's very easy on the eyes, or at least it sure feels that way to me.

I think it looks great and there should be an option to change the color for your profile because the grey looks like Steam which isn't necessarily a bad thing

Could it be possible for foum members to create and submit skins? And lets says as long as there is no content in the skin that breaks the rules it could be an option.

Maybe let the community vote on skins before they become available???

I used to be on a forum where it was changable and I submitted a few skins that everyone seemed to like.

Good idea, I started making mine, barely started, right now I'm just looking for every key rule, then I'll start playing.

I just replaced the logo and a few background rules.

Nifty. Are you working on a Stylish script or something?

Yeah, I used to make IPB skins back in the day (IPB2, and when it just switched to IPB3).

I dont get how it reminds people of steam....thats like saying "Hey thats black with white writing...reminds me of steam"....

¯\(°_o)/¯

Yeah, same. I actually had to Google pictures of Steam again to check (I use a Metro skin). It's black and has white text at the top in caps, so I guess it shares a resemblance...? I'm not sure if looking like Steam is a good or bad thing though.

Ah, that's what I thought. Awesome that you have a functioning one... I'm just designing mine in Photoshop. :P

Yeah I sometimes find it useful to start with the layout design, for full websites for examples. But most of the time i code my ideas right away.
