System Administrator has blocked this program.

hello

 

so i heard about micorosft releasing some bad updates so i didnt update when i got them.

recently microsoft has issued some more updates so i installed these.

 

now when i install programs like utorrent and spotify that are located in %appdata% it says "Your system administraor has blocked this program. For more information, contact you system administrator."

 

this is my own personal computer i run anti virus and anti malware scans at least 4 times a week and no problems.

 

i also installed itunes today which is located in program files x86 and this opens and works fine.

 

could it be the recent updates that i have installed from microsoft?

 

any help would be much appriated.

yes i use my microsoft account

go into CMD and activate the admin admin account and have a look in there. might help

ive just right clicked and run as admin and it worked

 

is theyre a way for all programs installed in %appdata% to run as admin apart from in the properties of that exe ?

to makesure you are an admim.

then i cant help you. have no experience with win 8.1. installed it on my laptop a few days ago.. threw it in the thrash this morning lol
