[Questions]

Any recomandation for the fan splitter that fits on my motherboard?

Better power supply than the current one?

Better motherboard than the current one?

Better RAM than the current one?

Better fan than the current one?

LIQUID COOL VS AIR COOL CPU COLLER

What Thermal Paste should I buy?

What exactly is a thermal paste and is it helpful?

How can i Use the thermal paste?

I want to make my computer look good inside. I am trying to go for Red/Black theme. I want to see my RAM threw the case window but I'm not sure about

air cool because of this (chunky air cooler cover up the RAM). The price range between good air cooler and liquid cooler is pretty simliar. I am thinking about Be Quiet Pro 3 air cooler VS Corsair H100i and the price range of them is pretty similar.

Liquid Cool, I suggest the corsair h100i or h110.

Thermal past goes between the heatsink and the CPU to provide optimal heat transfer to cool the CPU better.

You use thermal paste by applying a small amount onto the CPU then placing the heatsink onto the CPU and securing it to the motherboard, if you need more detailed instruction there are hundreds of videos on how to do it.

@Not a Black

I suggest you post this in the new builds and planning subsection. You're new to PC building and still have a lot of questions. The friendly guys there can help you out well and save you some money if this build is only for gaming.

I personally prefer the asus z97 boards as they have extra features and they do look very nice. As far as saying they are better.........you'll have to consider it yourself. But it comes down to personal preference in the end, they all basically do the same thing. But certainly go for liquid cooling over air cooling for your processor. I agree though, the H100i is a very good cooler, i have one in my gaming system, but also the H105 and  the H110 are also very good coolers (but im not sure whether the 650D has 280mm mounts for the h110). But if you arent overclocking and dont need a big dual radiator cooler then a h80i or even h60 will suffice. Also, i see that you have the corsair vengeance 8gb kits x2. Are you not able to have either 1 kit of 8gb now in the view of upgrading later or have 1 kit of 16gb? Also are you in the UK? Overclockers UK have their own Kingston HyperX edition kits, i use 2 8gb sticks of it at 2400mhz and it is very good and i found that they are reasonably priced compared to the other prices of RAM. But the fans are exceptional, i dont think you can get better fans than the corsair SP and AF ones. But all i would say is why dont you get the performance edition fans and run them at 70% or so? Then if you need to have a larger air flow you have the option as they do spin alot faster than the quiet edition fans and when slowed down they are basically the same volume as the quiets.

But it definitely seems like a very good build and you should be able to run most of not all games with setting maxed out. I have a GTX 760 striker and i can so a 780ti or 880 when it comes out should be able to handle games better.
