Best thermal paste for GPU'S?

Go to solution Solved by Un4tural,

it's more of a......I should try this kind of thing.

FOR SCIENCE!

i use mx4 on mine, on everything pretty much, except ps3, ps3 gets the cheap chinese stuff which i paid 3$ for 10tubes.

also had bought an old msi card, the bloody thing was epoxied to the heatsink...took me 2 days to salvage the heatsink for my 750ti to have passively cooled... needless to say i despise anything msi after that ordeal...

mx4 does a decent job isn't expensive and isn't conductive... doesn't dry out or lose performance after time. Get what suits you, until i use up my 8grams i still have left, i see no need to upgrade...

unless you're doing some extreme stuff and want liquid ultra or something... which is conductive i believe, so need to know what you're doing.

brands don't really matter, check benchmarks of various pastes, keep in mind that some can scratch the die too, so do some research if you don't go with some of the more popular options such as arctic silver or mx4.

Hello everyone. I'm not that knowledgeable in the thermal compound area. I don't know the difference in the brands and what not. SO....i'm going to change the old thermal on my 770 but I don't know what's the one that people mostly recommend. May someone help me with this?

Thank you.
