1. Yes it's possible to SLI them.

2. If you do, you need to stop thinking "how much VRAM will I have" because it doesn't work that way, each card has their own pool which is duplicated between the cards and it goes by the lowest common denominator. Meaning each card has 3 GB of usable memory.

3. No, two 780s far outperform a 780 Ti.

Yes but you'll only be able to use 3gb so I'd get another Msi 780 3bg if I were in you

the latest Nvidia driver have disabled SLI with 3GB and 6GB cards

I just came across a GTX780 Strix 6GB, would it be possible to SLI it with my old MSI 780 Gaming 3GB??

How much VRAM would I have??

Should I sell both cards, get a 780Ti and keep the change??

What he said.

Also, I would quicker sell your 780 3GB and buy another 6GB rather than go single 780Ti. I don't think 780Ti really justifies a good enough upgrade over a 780, unless you REALLY need more frames (and trust me, I understand really needing more frames).

Alternately, you could set your 780 to be a PhysX card and use a 780Ti. Or sell the 780, keep the Ti and grab a 760 or something for cheaper to handle PhysX. Assuming you care about PhysX. I'm just listing options.

Also, I still need to find out if i can mismatch SLI cards to force 64xQ CSAA on a game. I know PhysX can be mismatched but I don't know about forcing AA. Who wants to volunteer?

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

The guy I got the Strix 780 from, told me I won't be able to SLI it with my old card but I thought I would double check.

Right now I'm thinking of ditching the old MSI 780 and banking the cash until the 800 series comes around.

I only use a 2560x1080 monitor so I really don't need more than one GTX780 right now.
