Hello,

 

Here is a build that I have planned out. What are your thoughts?

 

Case: Corsair 350D

CPU: i5 4690k

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Dual SC ACX 4GB

Motherboard: Asus Gryphon Z97 Motherboard

Memory: Kingston Hyper X Fury Black 1866Mhz 8GB (2x4GB)

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750W G2 Power Supply

Storage: Seagate SSHD 4TB

CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 EVO

 

Upgrades:

  • Asus Gryphon Armor Kit
  • Swiftech H220-X AIO Liquid Cooler
  • Samsung 840 EVO Series 250GB SSD
  • NZXT RGB Hue LED Controller
  • 2nd GPU (much later)

The 350D is butt ugly if you actually utilize a 5.25 bay. For whatever reason, Corsair's design team thought it was a great idea to make the bays inset instead of flush which means the clean looks of the front is completely ruined. Look at 350D's that actually have a bay device installed.

Yes, I realise that. I was planning to mod the LED Controller. Cut off the plastic tray (since the PCB is at the front) and mount it somewhere else inside the case.

That would work. I like the looks of the 350D, just not the bay design.
