So I am starting my freshman year of high school this Monday. Brand new school and teachers a long with different people. Does anyone have any tips for me to be okay, especially for the first couple of days? I have had band there for the past couple of weeks so I'm good there and I have met a lot of new people and old friends, but I haven't walked around the school that much.

I have freshman orientation tomorrow that will help.

1. Don't be a dick

2. Pay attention in class

3. Don't be an asshole

4. Don't walk on the left side of the hallway

5. Try to become "Friends" with your teachers.

literally cover yourself in axe and let everyone know how many pounds of herb you roll through in a week

if you want to make someone laugh, casually fit penis, vagina, pussy, fgt etc. into a sentence. Sometimes sufficient as standalone joke.

draw dicks on everything, fuck tha police, and the school system always sucks

Just be yourself and be friendly.

Smile.

Look up and make eye contact, don't stare at your feet or the floor.

Make it a goal to get 2 girls numbers.

A little redundant...

They're different.
"I may be an asshole, but I'm not 100% a dick"

Also, a good point to drill home.

I started school last week as a freshman. Here's what you do.

1. Don't act like a dick to anybody, especially seniors.

2. If you use social media, try to link with some high schoolers you know.

3.Try not to act stupid or annoying in class.

4

"If it has tits or tires, at some point you will have problems with it." -@vinyldash303

this is probably the only place i'll hang out anymore: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/274320-the-long-awaited-car-thread/

Social

1. Do what you want and be yourself. Even if it is painfully obvious 80% of people won't like you.

2. Befriend that 20% who don't hate you

3. Remember that most people outside of your grade level won't care about who you are ever.

4. Delete Facebook

5. Don't be in a clique

School Work

1. Focus on memory and not study cramming

2. Do all home work in class or at lunch

3. Don't sign up for any AP classes because they are obnoxiously time consuming for little to no gain over Honors

4. Bring an interesting book from home to read during class when done with work

5. Don't focus on which test answer is right, go with your instinct

I finished every test, even finals, in less than 15 minutes with a 95+ on the tests. I know what I'm talking about

Faculty Relations

1. Befriend every teacher

2. Don't start shit to rustle the teacher

3. Stretch, but don't abuse your friendship with your teachers

4. Don't let administrators learn who you are for any reason.

5. Ooga booga where the white women at

Knowledge is power, guard it well.
