Hey forums,I wanted to ask you guys about my configuration.About a year ago I bought a computer from bestbuy that had an AMD apu which was great.Than I decided to upgrade my power supply and my graphics card to a geforce 650 ti Boost edition card.For some reason whenever I open up a game like cs:go or even Minecraft. My graphics card gets hot and Its quite annoying.ANY TIPS TO MAKE MY PC QUIETER WITHOUT THE EXPENSE? And if I do have to get fans or a better cooler what can I get for a average price?Thanks,looking forward to some answers.

download MSI afterburner

using the program

you should be able to set a fan curve which auto runs the fan at a certain speed for your GPU

if your APU is still using the stock cooler

you might want to invest on the CoolerMaster T4 cooler which is a bolt on solution

Don't block any air intakes or exhausts, perhaps try cleaning the dust out of the PC if there is any? (compressed air works great, just be sure to use it in short bursts)

I downloaded afterburner but the settings of the fans get louder as I turn the game up. I use my computer for recording,editing,rendering and gaming so I think I would need to get a new case and more fans.

You haven't even told us what model card it is.

If it's the EVGA SC blower then you're just going to have to deal with it. Pick between acoustics or temperatures; blowers don't let you have both.

Which version of the GTX 650 Ti Boost have you got?

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. You know what, can you take a picture for us? That would make it much easier to figure out.

PNY has at least 3 models of the GTX 650 Ti Boost: 1) the reference blower, 2) dual-fan, akin to TF3 or Sig2 and 3) a GTX 560 Ti-style single-fan design.

You also need to tell us the specs of the rest of your system. CPU, mobo, drives, case, PSU, etc.
