Online Scammers

So earlier today i was going to do some game trading online and i found a buyer looking for exactly what i wanted but i was a little skeptical so i asked him to provide proof of product which he did. Then i asked him to show me confirmed successful trades which he did. Right when i was going to send him the code i decided to search his username over Reddit and all of his skeletons came out the closet. He had been scamming people for weeks. 

 

Has anyone else been scammed out of something like this ???

Never . I just trade on steam..I right now have some scrap metal and Dead Island Epidemic on trade!

In trades I generally make the person give me what I want first although I had one Steam trade where I gave the item first and had no issue at all getting what I wanted.  As for my son who is going back to playing TF2 as his step mom said he could (OMG I hope it doesn't end as it has in the past and he sure as hell isn't playing it in my home) well he used to scam people all the time on Steam for TF2 using trade glitch lag to get items out of the trade window before they were sent and he would end up with better trades than he should have.  He did this so many times and got banned so many times.  I am afraid for the people that may meet up with him in a few days time as he said tonight this weekend he gets to play TF2 again and while his mother said no trading he will find a way to do it all over again.  Eh I also know though there were times where he got a taste of his own medicine so good for that.

And this is why software sales aren't allowed in bigger marketplaces and why companies like Blizzard and Valve won't allow account sales.
