Sorry if dumb question I'm quite a noob in computer software

 

I have a Retail Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) in my USB. I'm going to reformat my PC can I use that again? and still have a genuine windows? or do I need to spend more bucks for an official one?

i think you should be able to re use it. retail means you bought it at the store? in that case, for sure

So.. my Windows is still Genuine after Installation?

So.. my Windows is still Genuine after Installation?

If it's installed on the exact same system, it should be good to go. But if you planned on changing the motherboard and maybe other components, you have to do the process of 'untying' your key from the current system; you have to contact Microsoft for that.

I Recently bought a New GPU just to be clear I need to contact Microsoft for Genuine Validation because I made such changes to components?

Exactly, I think it binds to the motherboard, or at least it used to be that way. Anyway, my windows 8 PRO key says it's usable on 3 machines, idk if that means 3 PC/laptops or reusable 3 times. :)
