290x Lagging horribly?

In metro it drops down to steady 14fps non stop and gpu usage is sitting at 0-30 during this time. What is causing this?

Running latest beta drivers.

CPU -  Intel i7 4770k 4.6Ghz     Motherboard - MSI GD-65    RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16 GB     GPU - XFX 295x2    Case - NZXT H440  


Storage - 256GB OCZ Vertex 4 ssd, 1TB WD Blue 7200rpm    PSU -  EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2  Cooling - Corsair H80i     Keyboard - KGParadise v60 w/ cherry mx greens

Don't use beta drivers

It looks like you have a serious bottleneck elsewhere in your system, can you post your full specs?

Look at their profile and you'll see they're very clearly not bottlenecked.

Go to stable drivers, not Beta. See how the performance fairs then.

16gb corsair vengence

256gb ocz vertex and 1tb wd blue

290x tri x

750 w xfx gold

 

And for the other replys I'll try the stable ones. the 14.4?

Had the same problem on my 7870, it's with some AMD cards. 

You have to download nvidia physx then and enable that before you run Metro. Then you won't have that issue and get the framerate your expecting!!!

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
